Email and SMS Channel Manager (Remote)

Department: Marketing

RallySport Direct is looking for its next marketing enthusiast to join our team as a Channel Manager - Email and SMS. This is a remote based position that can be worked from the following locations:  UT, IA, ID, MN, WA, KY, TX, CA, AZ, CT, OH, FL, CO, and Nevada.

The Channel Manager is responsible for developing and implementing an email and SMS marketing strategy for broadcast, automated & triggered campaigns across multiple direct-to-consumer storefronts. They also work to identify valuable customer segments and to execute automated campaigns and customer journeys. Establishes daily/weekly/monthly analytics to report on performance to ensure revenue, ROI, and other business goals are met. This position reports to the Marketing Director.

Where you’ll spend your time: 

  • Develop and implement an email and SMS marketing strategy for broadcast, automated and triggered campaigns
  • Email and SMS campaign production: creation, planning, scheduling, executing, testing and optimization
  • Works to identify customer segments and execute automated campaigns and customer journeys
  • Target customers and prospects with relevant, personalized content to ensure an optimal customer experience
  • Optimize the email and SMS programs by continually testing creative, copy, timing, offers, and targeting
  • Collaborate with our email service provider and internal teams to optimize content visibility, conversation, engagement and overall campaign success. 
  • Establish daily/weekly/monthly analytics to report on performance
  • Ensure revenue, ROI, and other business goals are met
  • Other duties as assigned.

You have / are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related degree
  • 3+ years’ experience developing and managing email marketing and SMS campaigns
  • Being an automotive enthusiast a plus
  • Proven project management skills with track record managing complex, multi-faceted/interrelated projects that span over marketing and other departments
  • Quantitative, data-oriented, approach with strong reporting and analytical skills
  • Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced, rigorous work environment
  • Experience with email campaign tools and customer segmentation, as well as with tracking implementation
